Dear Parents

Happy New Year to you all!  Hope you had a lovely Christmas and enjoyed the bright, sunny days?

School is set and ready to open on 5th January as planned. We will continue with all the measures we had in place before Christmas and ask that you remind your children to continue to follow the hygiene measures and to remember to bring minimal items to school.  These should include reading books and any items they are asked to return and must include their own water bottle.  Please ensure that all items of clothing and water bottles are named so that others do not pick them up by mistake.

The timings for pick up and drop off will remain the same at present with the first group of Y1 and R children colleced at 3.10pm, the N, Y2 and Y3 at 3.15pm and the last group of Y4/5 and Y5/6 children collected at 3.20pm.  Please ensure that you maintain social distancing from staff and other parents whilst waiting and move away from the site promptly after collection.

Nursery timings for those who are new to nursery are: 8.55am start and 11.55am collection for those who go home after the morning session, or 3.15pm for those that stay for the full day. Siblings of those children in school can be dropped off after their brother or sister has gone into school if this is easier for parents, but please allow the Y1 (8.45am drop off) and R (8.50am drop off) parents to enter the school site first as they have an earlier drop off and collection time.

I will keep you informed of any changes to routines etc. as they arise.

Please find attached a letter from Colin Cox and Dan Barton CCC regarding returning to school.

We are looking forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday,

Kind regards

Phillipa Summers
